Fevers and Seizures

Kylee has seizures when she spikes a high fever. She had only had one when she was 11 months old but last friday she had another one. We didn't even know she was sick. She was acting fine, and I felt her and she seemed a bit warm so I gave her some tylenol and just figured it was from teething. Well not 20 minutes later, she started seizing. I was home alone and it was scary. The last time she had one, it was while we were at the doctor's office. Anyway, we went to the ER and they said she had an ear infection. Today we went to our regular doctor for a follow up and not only does she NOT have an ear infection, but she was taking antibiotics for nothing. She has some viral thing that they do not even treat with medications. She is fine now, other then being a bit fussy. I know these sort of seizures are harmless but they are scary none the less.

Too Funny!

Kylee is 17 months and has started having these monster tantrums. The first picture is just of her being silly, she has her Chuck E Cheese star glasses on, a sticker and her "live strong" braclet...in her other hand which you cant see, she has a purse and is all set to go.

The other pics are of her throwing a fit about putting jammies on for the evening.

she's not the cutest when she's having tantrums but it is so hard not to laugh.

Bows, Bows, and More Bows

We had to do some more bow pics for the website. This time Kylee wore headband bows because the outfits Kylee wore went from newborn sizes to 24 months and so most people would be ordering headband bows versus clippie bows. These bows are a bit bigger then I like for Kylee but it was all about the website, right? And some people like their bows really BIG!

This picture looks like she is blowing on something, but she is actually smelling the flowers as we asked her too

Are you serious?
Come on Mom!

I'm outta here!

These aren't actual outfits from our wardrobe...they were just on loan. We did get some good pics for the website, but Kylee just wasn't into it that day

High Heels

My Aunt B and Uncle J have adopted my daughter as one of their Grandchildren because they do not have any living close by. We love it and love them. They take her about twice a month for a night or weekend. They truely love and treasure their time with her. She of course is pretty spoiled by them and does what she wants. My aunt wears high heels and K loves playing in them. Here's a short video of the last time she stayed with them, she really is cracking herself up towards the end of the video.

Yummy Cinnamon rolls

I like making Cinnamon rolls (and my family likes eating them) and I have found a really good/easy recipe. I made them just the other day and they didn't last long. Actually I taught my SIL M how to make them so I only ended up with about half of the batch and her family ate the other half.

You can also use this recipe for dinner rolls that are just as yummy!

For dough part you'll need:

2 1/2 cups warm water

1/4 cup sugar

2 T yeast

2 T salt

6 cups wheat or white flour

1/3 cup shortening

Combine water, sugar and yeast, let set for 10 minutes. In a seperate bowl combine flour and salt, add shortening. Mix and knead, let rise to double. Form 2-3 loaves (or small rolls). Bake at 350 degrees for 35-50 minutes (less for individual rolls).

Cinnamon Rolls: after letting rise once, roll out dough, add softened butter, brown sugar, white sugar and cinnamon. Roll into a snake and cut into about 1 1/2 sections and lay in greased pan. Let rise to double again and cooke in 350 degrees oven for 20-25 minutes. (there is no exact measurements on the brown sugar, butter etc...just put as much as you like...the more the better). You can also add raisins, nuts or chocolate chips.

If you add raisins does it make it healthy?? I think so

Wagon Wheels

I bought a wagon a couple weeks ago from toysrus.com, they were having an awesome sale and I got a wagon that was originally 69.99 dollars for only 15. I love a great bargain. After it was delivered it sat in our entry way for, oh I dont know, 3 weeks until my husband finally noticed it and put it together. Of course he had some help.

I'm not sure if she is picking out toe lint here or what

and maybe she is eating it here...who knows

checking out the wagon from all angles

I forgot to take a pic of the wagon after they were all done, but here's what it looked like

My husband even used the directions to make sure it was done right and I've already made a mental not to keep clothes on my child at all times so that when a picture taking opportunity arises I dont have to worry about whether she dressed or not!
